The fastest route to an answer

TuneFootprint is a browser-based tool, so most questions are answered by the tools themselves. Start with the export guide inside any uploader ("How to download your Spotify data"), then check the FAQ section on the page you're using — both cover the common cases: what to upload, why a file isn't recognized, and how results are counted.

Common topics

• Uploading problems — make sure you exported the streaming history from Spotify → Account → Privacy settings, not a playlists-only or account-details export.
• Numbers look different from Wrapped — read "How plays, time and rankings are counted" on the Spotify Stats page; the 30-second rule explains most differences.
• Privacy questions — the Privacy Policy explains exactly what stays on your device (everything) and what reaches a server (nothing you upload).
