Spotify Stats

This page is a real Spotify stats tool, not a teaser. The moment your history is imported, the dashboard above fills with your numbers: total listening time in hours and minutes, meaningful plays (every listen of at least 30 seconds), unique tracks, and unique artists. Below the headline metrics you get your top 5 songs and top 5 artists, your most active listening month, your peak listening hour, your skip rate and your shuffle rate — the complete picture of how you actually listen.

If you have used other stats for Spotify websites, you will notice two differences here. First, everything is computed from your own Extended Streaming History file, the same export Spotify sends you from Account Privacy, so your Spotify stats cover the lifetime of your account instead of a short API window. Second, my Spotify stats never leave your machine: parsing, aggregation and storage all happen inside this page.

Spotify no longer needs to be connected. Older Spotify analytics sites asked you to log in with OAuth and then read only a few weeks of top items. This tool flips the flow: you export your data from Spotify yourself, upload the file, and get far deeper Spotify listening stats than the official API would ever hand to a third-party website.

Technically, the uploaded ZIP is unpacked and parsed inside a background worker thread, so even a multi-year history with tens of thousands of plays never freezes the page. The parsed events are normalized, de-duplicated, aggregated into per-track and per-artist indexes, and stored in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is uploaded to any server, because there is no upload endpoint at all.

The official Spotify API only exposes top items for roughly the last four weeks, six months, and one year — and Wrapped is a yearly snapshot with its own secret rules. That is why a typical Spotify stats website shows you a sliver of your history and quietly calls it “all time”.

Because this tool reads the Extended Streaming History you exported, your Spotify stats here are genuinely all-time: every play since the day you created the account, subject only to what Spotify includes in the export. That also explains small differences you may see against Wrapped — Wrapped filters private sessions and applies its own thresholds, while this Spotify stats tracker counts exactly what your export contains, the most honest source of Spotify stats that exists.

This Spotify stats website is free, needs no account, and imposes no artificial limits on how often you can re-import or how large your export may be. There are no ads pretending to be upload buttons, no email gate before your results, and no “premium” version holding the interesting numbers hostage. The whole Spotify stats engine runs on your own device, which is exactly why it can stay free.

It is also the honest kind of Spotify stats tracker: when a number is an estimate or a simplification, the page says so. There is no login, no password, no OAuth connect button and no account system. Your export is parsed in this tab and persisted only in your browser's local IndexedDB storage. No server copy exists anywhere, which is not a policy promise — it is simply how the Spotify stats engine is built. When you want your data gone, “Clear local data” deletes every stored record in one click, and your Spotify stats disappear with them.
