Your latest imported play timestamp is always shown in the status line, so you know exactly how fresh your Spotify listening history is. Because the data comes from an export, “recently played” here means the newest records inside your uploaded archive, not a live feed of your account.

The Spotify app only exposes a short queue of recently played songs, and the desktop client hides even more. To see a Spotify listening history that actually goes back years, you need the export route — and this tool turns that export into a searchable viewer.

The search box matches track names and artist names as you type. Date range filters restrict the list to a specific window — relive one intense month or check what a single vacation sounded like. The length filter (30 seconds, one minute, five minutes) isolates real listens from drive-by skips, and the skipped-only toggle flips the list into a wall of shame for your skip button habits.

Whatever combination of filters you build, the CSV export button downloads exactly the filtered rows of your Spotify listening history: track, artist, timestamp, seconds listened and skip status. Your play history, your spreadsheet. Spotify listening history as data, not memory.

If you uploaded the Extended Streaming History, your Spotify listening history covers the lifetime of your account — years of plays, subject only to what Spotify includes in the export. If you uploaded the standard one-year Streaming History files instead, the tool shows a clear “limited history” warning, because that format covers only roughly the last year of your listening history.

This is the honest trade-off of the export-based approach: you get unmatched depth, but the archive ends the day Spotify prepared your file. Nothing on this page claims real-time synchronization with your account. Spotify listening history ends where the export ends.

Each record in the export describes one finished play: when it happened, how many milliseconds you listened, the track, album and artist, whether shuffle was on, whether you skipped, and the platform you used. This viewer keeps the useful fields and discards the sensitive ones — IP addresses and usernames are dropped during parsing and never stored, so your Spotify listening history archive stays yours alone.

Podcast and video events appear in some exports too. They are ignored everywhere on this site except as a count of excluded non-music plays, because a Spotify listening history tool for music should rank music.

The listening history viewer runs entirely in your browser. Your export is parsed by a background worker, sanitized, and stored in IndexedDB on this device. One click on “Clear local data” wipes every stored play and resets this Spotify listening history page to empty.
